AWS is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Cross‑Category Services marketing team. This role owns the marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of services that help AWS customers accelerate their cloud transformations and achieve long‑term success: AWS Training & Certification, AWS Support, AWS Professional Services, and AWS Marketplace & Partner Services.
The team’s work spans building skills, providing expert guidance, identifying and deploying third‑party solutions, and ensuring ongoing operational excellence. Together, these services generate billions in revenue and play a critical part in the AWS customer journey.
Responsibilities- Develop and own the marketing strategy for each of the four service portfolios, including positioning, messaging, value propositions, and go‑to‑market plans.
- Synthesize customer insights, market data, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and shape strategy across all four businesses.
- Drive differentiated messaging that connects each service to the broader AWS customer success narrative.
- Lead product launch strategies, including naming, target‑audience definition, content development, and marketing vehicle selection.
- Continuously measure and optimize marketing performance, establishing KPIs and mechanisms for each portfolio.
- Serve as the primary marketing partner to four distinct business leadership teams, building deep trust with VP and Director‑level stakeholders.
- Navigate competing priorities and resource constraints, making principled trade‑off decisions and communicating them transparently.
- Build, lead, and develop a team of product and general marketing professionals across multiple portfolios and locations.
- Hire, retain, and grow top marketing talent, ensuring the team is effectively resourced and staffed to align with business priorities.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience.
- Experience managing teams.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of B2B procurement processes.
- Experience working with executive leadership in large organizations.

Location:
Multiple U.S. locations – Santa Clara, San Francisco, and Seattle. Salary ranges:
Santa Clara $171,800–$232,400;
San Francisco $171,800–$232,400;
Seattle $156,100–$211,200 annually.
