Campaign Operation Project Intern (Tik Tok Shop – Fashion) – 2026 Start (BS/MS) | Tik Tok

The Tone

This is an internship at Tik Tok, located in Los Angeles, CA. Tik Tok is building the leading destination for short‑form mobile video and is pioneering content and creator commerce in the US. This role matters by helping to scale the #Tik Tok Made Me Buy It  phenomenon and bringing discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by making Tik Tok a primary commerce channel.

The team is entrepreneurial, aiming to shape the future of shopping and deliver a high‑quality, unique customer experience through Tik Tok’s e‑commerce platform.

What You’ll Actually Do
  • Assist with conceptualizing, developing, and executing marketing campaigns, including sales and brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal account managers, user research, creator managers, and other cross‑functional teams for campaign creation and optimization.
  • Support communication and collaboration with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), social media, and other digital channels to develop online community reputation and brand awareness.
  • Conduct data analysis on campaign performance, focusing on order and GMV targets, and offer ongoing recommendations for optimization.
  • Research local market trends, culture, viral content, and industry developments in social media and e‑commerce to inform and optimize campaigns.
The Must‑Haves
  • Background:
    Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication, marketing, or an e‑commerce related field.
  • Experience:

    No specific years of experience are required; the role is for students.
  • Skills:

    Proven skill in stakeholder and project management, ability to manage expectations and drive for performance, and familiarity with the latest local trends and social media influencers.
  • Bonus:
    Prior internships in marketing, e‑commerce platforms, or creative agencies.
