The Director, Partnership Strategy (Political & Advocacy) is a senior individual contributor and strategic partner within Zeta’s Activation Partnership Enablement team. This role is ideal for a hybrid strategist
—someone who can think big, develop strong point‑of‑view recommendations, and execute with precision.

You will work closely with Senior Directors, Sales, Activation, Product, Data Cloud, and Analytics teams to deliver differentiated activation strategies that connect data, media, creative, and measurement
. This role requires comfort operating in fast‑paced, high‑stakes pre‑sales environments while maintaining clarity, structure, and quality.
REMOTE out of the Washington D.C. area.

What You’ll Do Political & Advocacy Strategy Development
  • Develop data‑driven activation strategies for political campaigns, PACs, advocacy organizations, trade associations, and CSR initiatives.
  • Support voter persuasion, turnout, fundraising, stakeholder mobilization, and public sentiment‑shifting objectives.
  • Contribute to standardized go‑to‑market frameworks specific to political and public affairs verticals.
  • Balance bespoke campaign strategy with scalable, repeatable playbooks.
Issue‑Based Messaging, Creative & Media Strategy
  • Translate audience intelligence into clear persuasion, mobilization, or reputation‑building narratives.
  • Develop activation strategies across:
  • Programmatic display & video
  • CTV/OTT
  • Paid social & political ad units
  • Search
  • Email & CRM
  • Integrate influencer ecosystems, thought leaders, and advocacy circles where appropriate.
  • Support CSR and public impact campaigns focused on ESG, sustainability, corporate reputation, or community engagement.
Influencer, Coalition & Community Ecosystems
  • Develop frameworks for leveraging:
  • Influencer partnerships in political and issue‑based spaces.
  • Grassroots and grasstops coalition networks.
  • Community‑based and mission‑aligned publisher ecosystems.
  • Identify audience overlap between owned, earned, and paid channels to maximize reach and credibility.
  • Partner with creative and activation teams to ensure messaging aligns with compliance and platform requirements.
Pre‑Sales Strategy & Sales Support
  • Support Sales on qualified strategic opportunities
    , including priority partnerships, high‑opportunity cross‑sells, and top‑tier case requests.
  • Contribute to strategic frameworks for RFPs and pitches, helping shape the approach, insight, and activation recommendations.
