Senior Manager, Product Marketing – GTM & Field Activation at Salesforce.
This high-impact, cross‑functional role sits within the Go‑to‑Market & Field Activation team and collaborates with Product Management, Sales, Revenue Enablement, Corporate Strategy, and Regional Marketing to develop and execute GTM programs, sales plays, and field activation strategies that drive pipeline, seller productivity, and revenue growth for the Sales Cloud business.
Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end GTM planning and execution for Sales Cloud/Agentforce Sales priorities, including new product launches, feature releases, and key selling moments
- Develop integrated GTM frameworks that translate product capabilities into field‑ready programs, covering audience segmentation, messaging architecture, value propositions, and competitive positioning
- Partner with PMM and Product Management to translate roadmap insights into compelling narratives and sales assets
- Design, build, and execute sales programs and plays that equip sellers across key segments, personas, and competitive scenarios
- Create and maintain high‑impact sales tools: pitch decks, battle cards, objection handling guides, demo scripts, ROI tools, and one‑pagers
- Drive field activation strategies aligned to selling motions across Commercial, Enterprise, and Global Accounts segments
- Lead cross‑functional enablement planning to ramp sellers on new products, messaging, and GTM priorities
- Develop and deliver enablement content and programs with Revenue Enablement, including launch kits, training materials, and certification programs
- Define success metrics for enablement and activation programs; track adoption and iterate based on field feedback and performance data
- Serve as the GTM lead and primary PMM partner for Sales Cloud field‑facing programs, aligning stakeholders across Product, Sales, Enablement, and Demand Generation
- Influence without authority across large, matrixed organizations to drive alignment and execution
- Present GTM strategies and program results to senior leadership
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, GTM, sales enablement, or a closely related field—ideally within enterprise SaaS or cloud software
- Proven track record of designing and executing GTM programs and sales plays that demonstrably impact pipeline and revenue
- Deep understanding of B2B sales motions, buyer journeys, and how sellers engage customers across the funnel
- Experience in CRM, Sales Technology, Revenue Technology or adjacent categories strongly preferred
- Exceptional storytelling and messaging skills; ability to distill complex product capabilities into crisp, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Strong program management skills; able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously across a matrixed organization
- Data‑driven mindset: comfortable defining KPIs, analyzing performance data, and using insights to optimize programs
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to executive audiences
- Collaborative leader who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional programs and influence without authority
- Experience mentoring or managing team members, with a bias toward developing talent
- Track record of operating with autonomy and ownership at the Senior Manager level
