Redwood Outdoors is a premium outdoor living brand specializing in high‑end spa baths, outdoor entertainment spaces, and lifestyle products. With showrooms across the US — including our newest location in Santa Monica — we bring together exceptional craftsmanship, a strong local brand presence, and a growing digital marketing engine to connect with high‑intent customers across the country.
Marketing Coordinators earn $27.88–$30.25 per hour.
This is an exciting time to join the team. We're expanding our showroom network and investing heavily in content, print, and events to drive qualified showroom traffic and grow our B2B presence. You'll be a hands‑on, detail‑oriented addition to a fast‑moving marketing team, spanning consumer and trade marketing — from coordinating B2B trade shows and managing print vendor relationships to producing on‑brand design assets and writing website content optimized for AI‑driven search.
WhatYou'll Do in the Role:
- Research, plan, and coordinate consumer events including showroom open days, outdoor living expos, and community pop‑ups.
- Support the organization of periodic B2B trade shows — managing booth logistics, stand materials, exhibitor requirements, and on‑site setup.
- Liaise with trade show organizers and vendors ahead of events to ensure all deadlines and specifications are met.
- Manage event logistics end‑to‑end: venue liaison, supplier coordination, collateral ordering, and on‑the‑day execution, including travel to venues as required.
- Draft and distribute event communications via email and social channels, and track RSVPs, guest lists, and post‑event attendance data.
- Assist with the design of on‑brand assets for print and digital use, including flyers, banners, event signage, trade show graphics, and social media templates.
- Amend and adapt existing templates in Canva based on team briefs, and prepare print‑ready files to spec for external print vendors.
- Own the end‑to‑end print process — from scoping requirements and obtaining quotes to placing orders, tracking delivery, and managing stock levels of printed collateral across showroom locations.
- Coordinate the production and distribution of local marketing materials — door‑drops, in‑showroom signage, and display assets — and support showroom launch activities.
- Track print spend against budget and flag any overruns to the Director of Marketing, while maintaining relationships with preferred print suppliers.
- Write and edit blog posts that support Redwood Outdoors' visibility in AI‑generated search results (including Google SGE, Bing Copilot, and similar platforms).
- Structure content to answer specific customer questions clearly and concisely, using formats like FAQs, structured headings, and comparison tables that perform well in AI‑driven search.
- Publish approved content to the website, applying on‑page SEO best practices, and collaborate with the web development team on content structuring and internal linking.
- Organize and maintain the shared asset library, and coordinate video shoot logistics including location booking, talent liaison, and equipment checklists.
- Process invoices and track purchase orders, distribute meeting notes, and handle ad‑hoc research tasks.
- 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, events, or design role.
- Strong writing and editing skills — you can craft clear, engaging, on‑brand copy.
- A working understanding of SEO fundamentals and how AI‑driven search surfaces content.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
- Hands‑on experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop).
- Confident producing print‑ready artwork and understanding basic print specifications.
- Comfortable with Microsoft 365 Suite — Outlook, Teams, Planner, and SharePoint.
- A genuine interest in design, events, or the outdoor lifestyle space.
- Experience coordinating events or trade shows.
- Desirable: experience using AI to write SEO‑optimized content for AI‑enhanced search environments; familiarity with a CMS platform (Word Press, Shopify, or similar).
