We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team to work directly
with our Director of Marketing. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to kickstart
a marketing career, providing comprehensive exposure to a wide array of strategies and tactics
across the marketing spectrum. The ideal candidate will gain invaluable hands‑on experience,
working closely with the Marketing Director on various projects, campaigns and events. This role
is perfect for an individual eager to learn and grow making it an excellent stepping stone for a
successful career in marketing.
Responsibilities- As the Assistant Marketing Director, execute the principal marketing strategy and decisions set forth by the Director of Marketing.
- Consistently meet deadlines.
- Keep the Marketing Director aware and on communications.
- Deliver established social media posts and email send dates on schedule.
- Provide administrative support such as organizing files, coordinating meetings, and aiding in managing marketing tools and databases to maintain organization, as well as accurate and updated data/information.
- Help set up marketing campaigns and analyze their effectiveness.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment in marketing efforts. Treat SDC showrooms as if they are clients and you are their account manager.
- Social Media: help manage social channels by scheduling posts, engaging with the audience, and analyzing social media metrics with the goal of growth.
- Platforms: IG, Linked In, You Tube, Twitter, Facebook.
- Website management: update and refresh website with current and new content.
- Event coordination: assist in organizing events, trade shows, or promotional activities, including logistics and coordination with Marketing Director visibility and review.
- Content creation: contribute to content creation, including writing copy, creating visuals, or assisting with multimedia content production.
- Graphic Design: create or edit photos/content/graphics for print ads and in-house.
- Submit content and work for director and stakeholder review and effectively manage the review process to stay on timeline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
- Microsoft Office and Google Suite proficiency.
- Ability to work closely and communicate openly with Marketing Director.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and can manage systems/marketing tools.
