Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content Writer / Copywriter
Independent Contractor | Approximately 20 Hours/Week | $4,000/Month
This role is going to come down to more than experience.
You're good at what you do. You understand strategy, write well, stay organized, manage clients confidently, and produce strong work without being chased.
Favorite Day Media is still a start-up, and you'll be joining a two-person team. You'll work closely with the founder and directly with clients, so judgment, communication, initiative, personality, and fit all matter. This may be the right role for someone who wants real ownership and likes the idea of helping shape a company while it's still taking form.
The RoleThis is not a role where someone hands you finished assets to schedule.
You'll take ownership of social media across multiple client brands—from identifying stories and building content calendars to creating photo and video content, writing captions, publishing posts, managing engagement, and evaluating performance.
You'll regularly visit client businesses, build relationships, contribute to strategy, and recognize when something needs to change without waiting for daily instructions.
You'll have direction and context, but also real autonomy.
About Favorite Day MediaFavorite Day Media is the creative marketing arm of Favorite Day Productions. We help businesses become recognizable brands through strategic storytelling, purposeful content, and digital marketing rooted in clarity, consistency, and meaningful connection.
We believe strategy comes first—and that social media, advertising, photography, video, and copy should always serve the larger brand.
LogisticsThis role is Seattle-based only. You must already live in the greater Seattle area; applicants planning to relocate will not be considered.
There is no office. We'll typically meet in person once or twice a week, and you'll visit client businesses to create content. Because much of that work happens while businesses are open, weekday availability during normal business hours is required.
Outside of meetings and content creation, your schedule is your own.
