Client Relationship Management
Renting should be faster, fairer, and less stressful than it is. We're the infrastructure that makes that happen. Four million users. 300+ real estate company and MLS partnerships. Ten years of consistent growth. From applications and screening to payments and lease management, the full rental journey runs on Rent Spree. Recognized by Forbes as a Best Startup Employer and by Built In Seattle as a Best Place to Work.
The Growth and Marketing team is building the growth engine across the entire Rent Spree customer experience, fueling our next stage of scale. We’re data-driven, insight-obsessed, and committed to exceeding acquisition, adoption, and revenue goals while strengthening trust with agents and landlords. Our work blends experimentation, speed, and adaptability to accelerate Rent Spree’s mission of building trust in every rental.
Almost everything we do reaches agents and landlords through someone else: an MLS, a brokerage, an apartment association. That’s our distribution moat AND our biggest constraint. Today those relationships are managed one at a time, with no systematic marketing program behind them, limited tiering, and limited data. As our Partner Marketing Lead , you’ll build that function from the ground up.
There’s a second job inside this one. Most of the ecosystem still knows us as a good tenant screening vendor. You’ll lead the charge and work with sales and success to reintroduce Rent Spree to them as the rental platform their members grow with, product by product, at every step of the rental journey.
You’ll report to our SVP of Growth & Marketing and sit alongside our Agent and Landlord growth pods as a third, partner-facing pod. You’ll start hands-on, partnering with our event marketing lead and drawing on shared content, product marketing, and growth operations. As the program proves out, you’ll build the team around it.
Hybrid in Seattle, WA. Three in-office collaboration days weekly, plus travel for partner events, conferences, and offsites.
What You'll Do- Build the partner co-marketing program from scratch — tiered packages tied to partner revenue and opportunity, each with committed Rent Spree dollars and specific joint activity on both sides. You decide the tiers, the economics, the match-and-reimburse model, and how we defend the spend with per-partner activation numbers.
- Reimagine and negotiate marketing terms into partner agreements — member-level data, channel access, reporting rights, and a standardized data intake completed before signing for new and renegotiated agreements.
- Own new partner acquisition and partner ABM — an account-based motion into MLSs, brokerages, proptech platforms and apartment associations that makes us the referenced choice before a rep dials. Thought leadership, an annual original-data industry report, trade press, and our event presence at CMLS, T3, Inman, NAR NXT and beyond.
- Break open the association channel — apartment associations, state and regional REIAs, and specialty networks are all targets of our Biz Dev team. Work with them on co-branded member education, CE calendars, newsletters, trade shows.
- Stand up a partner advisory board — a small group of engaged partners meeting quarterly to pressure-test the roadmap, plus a standing source of case studies, testimonials and reference calls.
- Give partners marketing they’ll actually use — done-for-you social kits, member spotlight video, co-branded assets, in-office physical presence. Partners have told us social is their most effective channel; most don’t have the staff to produce for it.
- Leverage AI and agentic workflows to scale partner research, ABM personalization, content production, and reporting across hundreds of accounts you can’t touch one at a time.
Our job descriptions evolve with our business needs and priorities. Your role may include other tasks, projects, and team support.
Skills You Bring- 10+ years in partner, channel, or account-based marketing — B2B2C, platform, franchise, association, or ecosystem models are ideal.
- You’ve built a program, not just run one. Tiering, MDF or co-op economics, budget allocation across partners, and the discipline to say no to a partner ask.
