SeniorCorporate Social Media Manager
We create and deliver tailored marketing strategies for Expedia Group’s brands, focusing on establishing strong connections and cohesive experiences for travelers and partners. We leverage our functional expertise and creative excellence to build trust and loyalty for our brands through innovative marketing approaches and technology.
We are looking for a Senior Corporate Social Media Manager to lead Expedia Group’s (EG) corporate reputation and thought leadership strategy across our corporate-owned channels, including Linked In, Instagram, You Tube, and our corporate website. This is a senior strategic role at the intersection of communications, content, and brand, one of the most visible and high-impact positions in our Corporate Communications team.
Inthis role, you will:
Strategy and editorial leadership
- Own Expedia Group's corporate social media strategy across Instagram, Linked In, and You Tube. Including, but not limited to, the channel mandates, editorial voice, content architecture, and publishing cadence
- Develop and manage an editorial calendar aligned to Expedia Group's business priorities, key moments, and reputation goals
- Set and uphold the standard for what great looks like — across format, quality, and impact
- Identify and scope emerging channel opportunities, including executive thought leadership, content franchises, partnerships, and new platforms
- Commission, brief, write, and shape content across formats:
Reels, data carousels, employee stories, executive posts, and event coverage - Translate complex business news, product milestones, and leadership perspectives into compelling social content
- Partner with creative teams, agency, and brand teams to produce content that meets EG's visual and editorial goals and standards
- Work with the Corporate and CEO communications teams to build an executive social program that supports Expedia Group's senior leaders in developing a credible, consistent Linked In presence
- Develop content frameworks and editorial support for individual leaders across key reputation themes
- Coach and advise leaders on social presence, tone, and thought leadership
- Serve as the strategic lead connecting Corporate Communications, Paid Media, Technology, Product, People & Places, Sustainability, and the brand social teams
- Integrate the EG Newsroom to ensure corporate news is amplified with the right framing and timing
- Work with analytics and measurement teams to track performance and evolve the program based on what's working
- 8-10+ years in corporate communications, social media strategy, or content marketing — with meaningful experience at a global company or agency
- A track record of building or transforming a corporate social program, not just managing one
- Experience developing executive social content and working directly with senior leaders
- Strong cross-functional experience in complex organizations with multiple stakeholders
- Background in travel, tech, or a similarly fast-moving industry is a plus
- Exceptional writing: clear, pithy, and versatile across CEO Linked In posts, Instagram captions, and internal briefs
- Strategic instinct: you know the difference between content that earns attention and content that fills a calendar
- Editorial discipline: you think like a journalist, with a nose for the story and a clear sense of…
