Marketing Managers at Amazon drive General Marketing, Product Marketing, and Functional Marketing for organizations including Prime Video, Amazon Music, Alexa Devices, Kindle, and Amazon Web Services, and for North American consumers as well, such as Retail Systems, Consumer and Brand Protection, Marketplace Sales, International Retail, Hardlines, and Softlines.

The work is done cross-functionally to develop marketing plans, define success metrics, manage strategic projects, and own business outcomes. Marketing managers are ultimately marketing leaders who are responsible for business segments and organizations.

The key job responsibilities of Marketing Managers are:

Build and launch marketing campaigns that deliver results across the marketing funnel, including paid media, merchandising, cross-channel outbound programs, and promotion strategies.

Drive the positioning, messaging, pricing, and creative strategies for Amazon products and services, shaping how customers discover and connect with our brands.

Lead the management of the marketing programs that drive operational excellence for Amazon, including annual planning, funnel optimization, lifecycle marketing, and go-to-market execution.

Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams, dive deep into data-driven problem-solving, and create solutions with real-world impact. An employee’s day will be filled with dynamic challenges where you leverage your analytical skills to design and launch process improvements and drive Amazon Operations excellence.

All roles for this position will be located at Amazon’s company headquarters in Seattle, WA. Successful applicants need to relocate to the team location.

Assistance for relocation will be provided and is expected upon program start.

Role and team placements are based on business needs, and as Amazon grows and flexes, we are looking for candidates who want to own, build, and impact the customer experience rather than be tied to a specific role or team.

Internship start dates will be between May and June 2027 for a 12-week consecutive internship program.

Applicants should be 18 years of age or older.

They should work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to a 12-week internship maximum.

Applicants should be currently enrolled in the MBA program with an expected graduation conferral date between December 2027 and June 2028.

Applicant should have experience in marketing.

Experience in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.

Applicant should have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

3-5 years of relevant full-time industry or military experience that occurred between the conferral date of your undergraduate program and before starting your MBA program.

It is a paid internship.
