Position Title: Crypto PR Manager

Location: Remote (United States only)

Job Type: Independent Contractor (No insurance, PTO, & benefits; candidate will be responsible for any tax and insurance)

TRON is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Crypto PR Manager to lead our public relations strategy and elevate our brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape, a robust network of western media contacts, and a proven track record of successful PR campaigns. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage high-profile relationships and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic PR Planning:

• Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with our business goals and enhance our brand visibility in the crypto space.
• Identify and capitalize on PR opportunities to position TRON and our executive as a thought leader in the industry.

Media Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry analysts, including major English crypto media and global fintech media
• Secure high-impact media coverage through press releases, interviews, op-eds, and exclusive stories.
• Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, handling media inquiries and crisis communications.

Content Creation:

• Create compelling and engaging content, including press releases, media kits, executive speeches, and bylined articles.
• Oversee the development of multimedia content such as videos, podcasts, and webinars to support PR initiatives.

Event Management:

• Plan and execute high-profile events, including press conferences, product launches, industry conferences, and speaking engagements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
• Develop and manage the public profiles of key executives, positioning them as industry leaders and influencers.
• Arrange media training and speaking opportunities for executives to enhance their visibility and impact.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Monitor, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform PR strategies.
• Work closely with the marketing, social media, and content teams to ensure cohesive and integrated communication efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on cryptocurrency, fintech, or technology sectors.
• Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements.
• Strong network of media contacts within the crypto and technology industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with PR performance metrics and reporting tools.
• Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
