We are seeking a strategic, mission-driven leader to grow awareness, strengthen donor engagement, and elevate our digital presence.

Role Overview

As the Development & Marketing Team Director
, you will serve as a volunteer strategic leader, ensuring fundraising, marketing, engagement, and technology efforts are aligned and driving measurable impact. You’ll guide four specialized pods—Fundraising, Marketing & Outreach, Engagement & Experience, and Technology & Digital Tools—so that messaging, donor journeys, campaigns, and systems work cohesively to advance our mission.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for development and marketing functions.
  • Coordinate cross-pod goals, annual and quarterly planning, and performance tracking.
  • Support fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation, and sponsor stewardship through compelling storytelling and integrated systems.
  • Oversee content calendars, brand consistency across channels, and digital engagement strategies.
  • Improve user and donor digital experience with analytics-driven enhancements.
  • Coach and develop volunteer pod leads to maximize collaboration and impact.
Who You Are
  • 5+ years in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, digital strategy, or related leadership roles.
  • Skilled at leading cross-functional teams and translating strategy into execution.
  • Comfortable with analytics, CRMs, digital tools, and storytelling to nurture engagement.
  • Passionate about equity-centered communications and youth empowerment.
