Overview

This is an Ameri Corps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. We are part of the Waterkeeper Alliance, a worldwide organization of about 350 waterkeepers that works to protect local bodies of water.

Puget Sound communities need pollution education and hands-on engagement activities. The member will serve with volunteers of all ages in scientific monitoring and clean-up activities, and will also support public engagement through presentations and tabling at community events. Rolling review of applications and interviews is expected to begin in late June. Monthly stipend amount: $3,157.
