DescriptionPurpose
The Events & Engagement Coordinator supports Neighbor care Health’s fundraising and community engagement efforts through the planning, coordination, and execution of events. Reporting to the Chief of Community Engagement and working as part of a broader development team, this role leads the logistics and execution of fundraising and donor engagement events, ensuring each experience is well‑organized, engaging, and aligned with fundraising goals.
This role is primarily focused on event planning and management for the foundation, while partially supporting organization‑wide community engagement events to bring synergy across both. The Events & Engagement Coordinator brings strong organizational and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to Neighbor care’s mission of advancing health equity and achieving 100% access to care.

Compensation:
- The target wage range for this position is $56,992.00 annually to $69,201.60 annually.
- Final offers are individually based on various factors, including skill set, years of experience, location, qualifications, work schedule and other job‑related reasons.
Primary Responsibilities:
Event Planning, Coordination, Execution (75%)
- Partner with the leaders and team members to design events that support foundation goals.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising and donor engagement events from start to finish, including timelines, logistics, vendors, budgets, staffing, and day‑of execution.
- Support targeted, event‑driven donor outreach by coordinating segment‑specific invitations, messaging, and follow‑up that strengthen donor connection and contribute to fundraising outcomes.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for development events, managing registration, run of show, speakers, volunteers, and post‑event follow‑up; work with leaders across departments to secure participation and volunteer support as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to research prospective donors and funding sources to expand the organization’s donor base.
- Coordinate vendors and service providers (venues, catering, audiovisual, rentals, registration platforms) to ensure events are delivered on time and within scope.
- Partner with development and communications staff to support event logistics, outreach, and communications, including registration, invitations, reminders, and follow‑up.
- Track event timelines, deliverables, and outcomes to support planning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain event documentation, tools, templates, and checklists to support consistency and efficiency.
- Support event debriefs and documentation, including lessons learned and recommendations for future events.
Administrative Support (25%)
- Maintain a centralized calendar of community engagement and outreach events across the year, with emphasis on spring, summer, and fall activities.
- Serve as the primary coordination point for internal teams participating in community events and tabling, supporting scheduling, logistics, materials, and timelines.
- Support cross‑department coordination to ensure community engagement events are well‑prepared and appropriately staffed.
- Help identify opportunities to align fundraising events with broader community engagement efforts.
