The Development Director is responsible for leading and executing all fundraising and development activities as a department of one. This role blends strategy and execution, managing the full lifecycle of fundraising including individual giving, major gifts, grants, corporate sponsor ships, events, and donor communications.
The Development Director partners closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to maintain and grow Jubilee’s funding base. While this role is highly independent, the Director is supported by external contractors (graphic design, grant writing, event production and communications) and an internal database manager who oversees gift processing and reporting.
The Development Director serves as a key ambassador for Jubilee, representing the organization to donors, foundations, corporate partners, community stakeholders, volunteers, and the broader public. This role requires commitment to Jubilee's mission and the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-directed, entrepreneurial fundraiser who enjoys both high-level strategy and hands‑on implementation.
