Are you a skilled fundraising professional looking to support a non‑profit that fully aligns with your passions and values? Hip Hop is Green (5o1c3 non‑profit) is the first national plant based climate justice organization. We have been providing our services for over fifteen years and we focus on systemic change through youth education and empowerment. We are looking for an experienced, resourceful, creative, and charismatic Fund Development Coordinator to create and execute successful fundraising campaigns that identify and secure grassroots individual donors, foundations, grants and high net worth donors.
The Fund Development Coordinator will be responsible for maintenance and management of donor databases, digital marketing campaigns, paid and earned social campaigns, and SMS donor nurture campaigns. To be successful as our Fund Development Coordinator you must have excellent networking skills, experience with donor relations, efficiency in planning initiatives in advance, and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
We are a 501(c)(3) Plant‑based non‑profit organization that started with a mission to support holistic wellness and transform urban communities environmentally. We have served over 40,000 free, plant‑based meals to communities in need nationwide. HHIG, is one of the first organizations in the Seattle Central District area that has its own hydroponic farm named Cherry Street Farm & Lab that makes the planet healthier and provides a space where communities most at risk from climate change can experience holistic wellness.
At its core this space empowers young climate change makers to grow healthy food‑and selves. HHIG’s Youth Excellence Program (YEP) is a curriculum that provides a safe space for BIPOC nationwide. YEP is the first‑ever, climate change educational program of its kind that provides interactive learning about plant‑based food and more.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fund Development Coordinator to join our team in Seattle, WA. The Fund Development Coordinator will play a crucial role in securing funding for our programs and initiatives, ensuring the continued growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet annual revenue goals
- Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and grant‑making organizations
- Write compelling grant proposals and letters of inquiry
- Manage donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgment letters and recognition programs
- Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, board members, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners. The ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds is essential
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress, including revenue projections and budget tracking
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in fund development
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, fundraising, or a related field
- Must have 10–15 years experience in the non‑profit sector and have raised a minimum of 10 million in a successful donation campaigns
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundraising software
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ethical fundraising practices
