Community Development Outreach Specialist

Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is seeking a Community Development Outreach Specialist to join the Community Engagement and Analysis team. This role involves conducting outreach to financial institutions, community-based organizations, local government agencies, and Native-serving organizations to identify community development needs and surface solutions in low- and moderate-income communities.

Responsibilities include hosting events, round tables, and meetings to cultivate strategic partnerships, identifying emerging issues and solutions affecting the community development industry, sharing Federal Reserve tools and research, advising the team on Native community development topics, seeking collaboration opportunities with internal stakeholders, and contributing to Federal Reserve System Community Development initiatives.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in public policy, economics, business, or related field, eight or more years of relevant experience in community development, proven leadership skills, self-motivation, experience working with Native communities, strong planning, coordination, marketing, and facilitation skills, familiarity with the Community Reinvestment Act, superior communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 30%.
