POSITION SUMMARY:

Seattle Indian Health Board is seeking a highly skilled Development Manager to build and expand our development efforts under the supervision and support of the Public Affairs Director. As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing, and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with SIHB's mission and goals . The Development Manager will plan and execute fundraising events to engage the community and raise awareness of the Seattle Indian Health Board's mission.

Coordinate logistics, recruit volunteers, and manage event budgets to maximize impact.

Organizational Structure/Reporting Relationships:

This position reports directly to the Public Affairs Director and is a member of the Development team. This position has no direct reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Donor Cultivation and Fundraising
  • Foster and track all donor relationships.
  • Ensure robust and timely donor appreciation.
  • Constantly identify prospects and appropriate opportunities for building relationships with private, public, and corporate philanthropy.
  • Coordinate fundraising goals, logistics, communications, and donor solicitations for Give Big and other community fundraising days like Giving Tuesday.
