Job Description
UW Medical Center - The Professional Practice and Family Centered Care department has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist Pain Management.
Work Schedule- 90% FTE
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30am-4:30pm
Through involvement in clinical support, education, research, organizational support, the CNS serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff. This CNS consults with inpatient and clinic staff regarding pain assessment, planning and implementation of care, and coordination of care delivery for patients with complex pain.
Position Highlights- Work with leading experts in comprehensive pain management care to provide the best combination of treatments for patients.
- Apply your nursing expertise, attention to detail, and your service orientation to patient care and delivery of pain management.
Job Responsibilities
- Clinical Support – Excellence in professional nursing practice is promoted.
- Education – The professional advancement of staff is promoted. In collaboration with medical physicists research fosters a culture of clinical inquiry.

Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington;
Master's degree in nursing or related field; minimum of three years of professional nursing experience; strong skills in pain management.
