This role is critical for delivering specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be proficient in interpreting telemetry data to provide high-quality care and ensure the safety of critically ill patients.

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, focusing on those requiring intensive cardiac and telemetry monitoring.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other vital signs, responding promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with ICU physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures while adhering to established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on care protocols, recovery expectations, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring proper documentation of interventions, progress, and care plans.
• Participate in rapid response teams and respond to critical situations with confidence and precision.
• Uphold patient safety and infection control standards in the ICU environment.

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in Washington.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
  Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU or telemetry nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and delivering quality care.
