Registered Nurse 2 – Yakima Valley School Residential Habilitation Center

We are hiring multiple Registered Nurses to provide compassionate and skilled care for adults with developmental disabilities in a supported living setting. Your work will help people live healthier, more comfortable lives—often in ways they can’t easily ask for themselves.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a doctor or nurse practitioner (enteral feedings, respiratory therapy, skin care, bowel care, IM injections, etc.).
• Assess any change in condition and report concerns to the doctor, nurse practitioner, or supervisor.
• Speak with family members/guardians and care teams to share health updates.
• Chart medications, treatments, and health details in the clinical record/Electronic Health Record (EHR) accurately.
• Correctly document, transcribe, and implement verbal and telephone physicians orders.
• Record observations and important health updates about residents in their clinical record.
• Help in different units around campus when assigned.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations.

Shifts available:
Night shift (9:30 PM – 6 AM), Swing shift (1:30 PM – 10 PM), and on‑call. Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential. Additional 5 % premium pay may apply for on‑site work at least three days a week.

• Current Washington State license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduated from an accredited professional nursing school.
• Minimum one year of professional nursing experience or college‑level nursing education.
