Travel Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30)

Operating Room RN

• Former Swedish permanent staff are NOT eligible to work as travelers—no exceptions, regardless of time elapsed
• Any prior Swedish perm staff is a hard stop for all OR units and OR specialties
• Robotics, General, Urology, GYN, Bariatrics, minor Vascular, Plastics, and Thoracic cases are hard stops
• Thoracic and vascular experience is REQUIRED to independently take call (hard stop if not met)

All Swedish facilities accept active Compact licenses

Minimum 2 years OR experience required (screen out candidates with less than 2 years)

Floating required to other ORs at the First Hill Campus

Required:

BLS, ACLS

Preferred: CNOR

• Weekends:
  Based on unit needs
• Call:
  Three weeknight call shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Three weekend call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) per 6-week schedule
• 30-minute call response time required
• OR travelers receive schedules in 6-week intervals
• Variable schedules are set in advance; any changes are discussed with the traveler beforehand
• Occasional schedule adjustments may occur, but availability is always confirmed first and is not frequent
• Staffing is adjusted based on patient volume, with voluntary flexibility prioritized among permanent staff
