Verovian Nursing Agency seeks a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team in Seattle, Washington.

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment but are not in need of intensive care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, compassion, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administer medications, and provide treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and respond promptly and appropriately.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and care plans.
• Accurately document patient information, including assessments, treatments, and responses, in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Adhere to established protocols, guidelines, and standards to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Stay current with the latest nursing practices, procedures, and regulations through continuing education and professional development.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit, Telemetry, or similar setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NRP certification is required.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
