Lance Soft is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in high‑acuity and high‑pace environments
• Current supervisory references required
• Proof of required certifications submitted
• Must pass clinical review and provide current Nurse Sys confirmation
• High‑risk experience preferred; candidates with 3 + years of high‑risk experience considered
• First‑time travelers are not accepted
• Must be able to float to sister facilities that provide Mother/Baby services

Responsibilities:

• Perform baby nurse duties during delivery and continued care of newborn until transfer to postpartum
• Carry out neonatal care including eye care and Vit K injections, thigh assessment, and other newborn assessments
• Support high‑risk/high‑volume L&D in fast‑paced, high‑acuity settings
• Monitor electronic fetal monitoring (EPIC) as required by hard‑stop policy
• Adhere to AWHONN guidelines and staffing procedures
• Work 12‑hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week over a 13‑week contract
• Pre‑approved time off will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis; schedules may include every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Unit includes 31 rooms and beds; average census 15 per day, 500–600 deliveries per month
