About the Position

Nurse Practitioner at Cowlitz Family Health Center, Cathlamet, Washington. Full‑time (1.0 FTE) with 10‑hour shifts.

Annual Salary: $131,100 – $139,050 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose medical conditions and prescribe medications.
  • Monitor potential medication side effects.
  • Provide primary care and preventive health treatments.
  • Collaborate with medical assistants, receptionists, referral and records experts, care coordination professionals, behavioral health specialists, and outreach and enrollment staff.
  • Deliver consumer‑friendly, evidence‑based care.
Qualifications
  • Active licensure to practice in Washington without restriction.
  • Board‑certified or eligible in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds.
  • Valid, unrestricted license to prescribe drugs, medications, pharmaceuticals, and controlled substances.
  • No disciplinary actions by professional/peer review organizations, governmental agencies, licensing bodies, or hospital medical staff.
  • Knowledge of evidence‑based primary clinical care standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships with patients.
  • Ability to engage patients in improving and maintaining their health.
  • Experience working with underserved, transient populations.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records.
  • At least 2 years of related experience providing primary care in an outpatient setting.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
