ICU Nurse, RN Nurse
Job Description
Join our team as an Endoscopy Registered Nurse in Seattle, Washington, for a 13‑week travel assignment that offers a blend of procedural skill and hands‑on patient management. You’ll work in a high‑acuity, teaching hospital setting with a 4‑bed unit, providing sedation care and supporting endoscopy procedures. The shift consists of four 10‑hour days, typically from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with some flexibility needed for early or late start times.
This role requires proficiency in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, along with sedation experience, including conscious sedation certification, which is highly preferred. Expect to float within procedural and pre/post areas, managing patient ratios of 1:1 in intake and sedation zones, and 1:2 in post‑procedure. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent acute hospital experience, ICU background preferred, and hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
The schedule involves weekend call shifts (1‑2 per month), and the facility offers guaranteed hours with the possibility of scheduled days off. This is a great opportunity to work in a facility with Magnet status, teaching, and trauma level I designation, offering exposure to high volume and high acuity cases.
