Job Description
UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Post Liver Transplant Registered Nurse to join our Transplant Services team.
The position focuses on duties related to the post‑transplantation phase and includes procurement call. Management for the designated transplant patient population includes independent patient assessment, triage, education, coordination of medical and nursing care, and documentation of care. Integral to the role is an understanding of the regulations and data requirements surrounding transplant care issued by the United Network of Organ Sharing and HRSA.
Responsible for the nursing care and coordination of the post‑liver transplant long‑term patients, plus surgical (non‑transplant) patient education and surgical prep, as well as multiple clinical procedures on a daily basis.
Nursing Process – Systematically assesses the need for and the delivery of nursing services that meet patient care requirements, whether delivered directly or by other nursing staff.

RequirementsTwo years of professional nursing experience, including clinical nursing expertise in post‑liver transplant patient care. Prefer skills in transplant coordination/United Network of Organ Sharing and BSN.
Compensation and BenefitsPay Range Minimum: $45.59 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $83.64 hourly
Other Compensation:
$5.00/hr nights
$4.00/hr weekends
$3.00/hr evenings
$1.25/hr Nursing Certification
$1.00/hr BSN Premium
