RN - NICU (Level IV) @ Swedish First Hill
Full Time (36 Hour Weeks) – 12 Hour Shifts, Night Shift.
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible rehires and external hires who meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. This bonus is in addition to the benefits and compensation package that begins on your first day of employment.
Responsibilities- Employ nursing professional practice: assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; develop, update, and coordinate the patient’s plan of care to achieve goals and optimize outcomes and transitions across the continuum; monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate; perform and maintain currency of essential competencies as required by your specific area of hire and populations served.
- Advocate for ethical, holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote the autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of those we serve.
- Facilitate learning for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team, including students.
- Coordinate safety and quality: identify and correct problems, integrate evidence and best practice into nursing care, and use data and evidence to improve patient outcomes, aligning patient, self, and environmental safety.
- Engage in professional development: practice to the top of your license within the legal parameters of the Nurse Practice Act, the Nursing Social Policy Statement, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and specialty standards. Promote a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence‑based practice.
- Lead and coordinate teams, delegate appropriately, and collaborate with others as equal members of the inter‑professional care team to integrate nursing knowledge while modeling professional behaviors.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP – American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
