Job Description
UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a full time (100% FTE, 40 hours per week), day shift ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER (Registered Nurse
3) to join the Abdominal Transplant team. The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide direct nursing care, train and manage staff, spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safe patient care practices. Oversight of subset of Abdominal Transplant (Kidney, Liver, Pancreas) Duties.
40 hours per week, day shift.
Responsibilities- Establishes and maintains credibility as a leader of day-to-day operations
- Oversees staffing
- Provides leadership for clinical and administrative functions
- Develops, coordinates, and maintains various work processes that ensure successful department function
- Promotes effective communication among staff and patients
- Identifies staff and resource problems and takes necessary steps toward problem resolutions
- BSN and 2 years of current or Surgical nursing experience including scrub and circulate
- Surgical, scrub and circulate transplant nursing experience
- Previous charge, lead, or supervisory nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
- BLS
Pay Range Minimum: $49.23 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $90.33 hourly
- $1.25/hr Nursing Certification
- $5.00/hour night shift
- $4.00/hour weekends
- $3.00/hour evening shift
- $1.00/hr BSN
