Overview

Nurse Manager – Pre‑Op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – UW Medical Center‑Northwest.

Full‑time, Monday through Friday.

• Recruit, hire, and supervise staff.
• Plan and manage the unit’s clinical operations and budget.
• Implement programs to meet specific patient‑care needs.
• Focus on continuous improvement of the quality of patient care.
• Oversee more than 45 employees, including three Assistant Nurse Managers and a Clinical Nurse Educator.

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license (or ability to obtain).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum five years of nursing experience, with at least three years of acute‑care surgical services.
• Previous leadership experience in roles such as Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager.
• Must obtain and maintain ACLS certification.
