Job Description
UW Medical Center-Northwest – has an outstanding opportunity for a per diem Registered Nurse for our PACU Department.
Work Schedule- Days
- Evenings
- Weekends
Our PACU RNs provide pre‑admission assessment and phase 1 post‑anesthesia care for our surgical patients. These nurses also provide surgical patient discharge teaching.
Position Highlights- Assessment and nursing diagnosis of patients
- Care planning
- Patient teaching
- Discharge and transfer planning
- Admission, discharge and transfer processes
- 2 years current recent Critical Care experience, Emergency or PACU Phase I and/or Phase II
- PACU experience preferred.
- Active Washington State RN License or applicable Multistate RN license
Pay Range Minimum: $45.59 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $83.64 hourly
Other Compensation: $5.00/hr nights; $4.00/hr weekends; $3.00/hr evenings; $1.00/hr BSN; $1.25/hr Nursing Certification
