Senior Living Nurse
Multiple Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 8am - 4pm
- 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10pm

- Provide a high level of customer service to residents and team members in line with the MG CARES program.
- Support and promote the community’s philosophy, goals, objectives, and programs.
- Mentor caregiving team members in resident services.
- Maintain an attitude of respect and confidentiality at all times toward residents, team members, and visitors.
- Assist with creating and maintaining a calm environment, an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis.
- Assist with providing management reports as requested.
- Attend and provide in‑service training as directed.
- Work within the parameters established by Murphy Gardens for resident care as described in community policies and state regulations.
- Provide medication services to residents as allowed by state regulations and outlined in each resident’s service plan.
- Evaluate residents’ needs and abilities as outlined in each resident’s service plan.
- Document the results of services provided and evaluations of residents’ needs and abilities per state requirements and community procedures.
- Communicate with families, physicians, and other health‑care professionals as directed and appropriate.
- Provide direct care to residents according to their identified service needs within Murphy Gardens’ policies and state requirements.
- Be available by phone at all times while on duty.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current LPN/LVN or RN license in the community’s state.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience (preferably geriatric care).
Actual pay rate within the stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.
Physical RequirementsThis role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
