UW Medical Center-Montlake - Pediatrics ClinicPer Diem Registered Nurse
Work Schedule- Per diem schedule / variable hours per week
- Must be available to work day shifts from 8:00am-4:30pm
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday; clinic closed on weekends and holidays
- Must be available to work at least 4 shifts each 4-week period
Our Pediatrics Clinic provides comprehensive primary and specialty care for babies, children, teenagers, and young adults up to age 21, including well-child checkups, developmental screenings, acute illness treatment, school and sports evaluations, environmental health consults, pediatric allergy assessments, behavioral guidance, and hearing and vision screenings.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Educate patients and families on ongoing healthcare needs
- Assist providers with routine pediatric assessments
- Administer pediatric vaccinations
- Handle pediatric phone triage daily
- Provide nursing advice in person, via phone, and telehealth
- Answer patient calls and eCare messages
- Follow up on medical records and test results
- Manage prescriptions and referrals
- 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience
- Active BLS
- Active licensure to work as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Pay Range Minimum: $45.59 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $83.64 hourly
BSN (or higher) premium – $1.00/hour
Certification premium – $1.25/hour
