Description
This position will cover Pre-Op, PACU, Phase II Recovery Services, Pre‑Anesthesia Testing. Functions in collaboration with the Director and Nurse Managers to develop and maintain the clinical orientation program and competency of all nursing staff. The primary responsibility is to ensure that nursing staff, new to the organization, have the resources, support and knowledge to provide excellent nursing care. Main areas of focus will include Medical/Surgical and Critical Care on the evening and night shifts.
Other responsibilities may include house‑wide education, skill validation, development and coordination of competency programs.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
- Upon hire:
Washington Registered Nurse License. - 3 years current nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- If the incumbent does not have a Bachelors of Nursing at the time of hire, they must be enrolled and actively pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing degree.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Master's Degree.
- Upon hire:
Teaching degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range: $52.26 – $81.13 per hour. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
