**** UW Medical Center-Montlake - Pediatrics Clinic
** has an outstanding opportunity for a
** Per Diem Registered Nurse**.
** WORK SCHEDULE
*** Per diem schedule / variable hours per week
* Must be available to work day shifts from 8:00am-4:30pm
* Must be available to work Monday-Friday; our clinic is closed on weekends and holidays
* Must be available to work at least 4 shifts each 4-week period
** DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
** Our
** Pediatrics Clinic
** provides comprehensive primary and specialty care for babies, children, teenagers, and young adults to age 21. Our services include well-child checkups, developmental screenings, acute illness treatment, school and sports evaluations, environmental health consults, pediatric allergy assessments, guidance on behavioral concerns, and hearing and vision screenings.
** PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Educate patients and their families on ongoing healthcare needs
* Assist our providers with routine pediatric assessments
* Administer pediatric vaccinations
* Handle pediatric phone triage on a daily basis
* Provide nursing advice in person, via phone and via telehealth
* Answer patient calls and eCare messages
* Follow up on medical records and test results
* Manage prescriptions and referrals
** REQUIREMENTS
* ** 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience
* Active BLS
* Active licensure to work as a Registered Nurse in Washington State

**** Pay Range Minimum:**$45.59 hourly
** Pay Range Maximum:**$83.64 hourly
** Other Compensation:
** BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour Certification premium - $1.25/hour Overtime pay
