If yes, we are looking for YOU!
Serene Nursing Services is looking for skilled and experience LPNs to join our growing team and work various shifts in Long term care facilities in Greater Seattle area. This amazing LPN must:
- Provides direct patient care, assists with care for patients of others (as needed)
- Makes patient care assignments to other staff members on duty
- Responsible for the care delivered by the nursing staff under his/her direction during the shift for which (s) he is on duty.
- Communicates effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.
- Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
- Interprets, implements and enforces all facility policies and procedures
- Assigns responsibility for the direct care of residents
- Supervises the CNA staff
- Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies resident family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of health
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN with current state license required
- Minimum of (1) one year experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills in the nursing process necessary for those patients requiring the expertise of a professional registered nurse.
- Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements
- Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray
- Must be able to work any shift as needed and be flexible with scheduling requirements.
