Job Description

UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Radiology team.

Primary

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care under RN direction, including medication administration, injections, phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, and point-of-care testing.
  • Support pre- and post-procedure workflows: patient intake, education, preparation, and discharge instructions.
  • Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, complete medication reconciliation, and ensure readiness for procedures.
  • Assist with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, maintaining sterile technique and anticipating provider needs.
  • Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition, abnormal findings, or concerns to RN/provider.

Minimum Qualifications

Legal Requirement

Current license to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Washington.

Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Preferred Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred; required within 3 months of hire.
  • Experience in procedural, ambulatory, or acute care setting preferred.
Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum: $31.85 hourly

Pay Range Maximum: $45.60 hourly
