Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Seattle, Washington, 98105!

Registered Nurse – Pediatric PACU

Seattle, WA

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days/Evenings | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Start times between 6:30 AM and 1:00 PM | Occasional weekends | On-call requirements apply (currently 4 hours per 6-week period)

• Provide Phase 1 and Phase 2 post-anesthesia recovery care for pediatric patients
• Manage central lines and care for tracheostomy patients as part of routine PACU duties
• Monitor and assess acutely ill pediatric patients across a wide variety of post-surgical and procedural cases
• Respond to on-call assignments within 1 hour of notification when required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient transitions through the recovery process

• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience with at least 30–40% pediatric patient population
• Demonstrated experience with central line management and tracheostomy patients
• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN license (must be willing to obtain Washington license upon offer if not already held)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Ability to meet on-call requirements consistent with staff nurse expectations

• Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care experience strongly preferred
• Experience with IV access, ventilator management, and tracheostomy care
• Background in multiple PACU practice settings with varied, acutely ill patient populations, preferably in an academic setting
• Prior travel nursing experience and Epic EMR familiarity
