Swedish Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Clinician (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join the Critical Care team to support the APC program at Swedish First Hill and Cherry Hill campuses in Seattle, Washington.
Position Details:
- Full-time position (1.0 FTE)
- 13 shifts per month (156 shifts per year); 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., variable schedule, includes weekends and holidays
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and management of critically/acutely ill patients
- Collaborate closely with critical care physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care
- Perform inpatient procedures consistent with training and scope of practice
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation is between $145,767 and $190,261 per year
Compensation may include productivity, quality and service incentives, or extra shift incentives as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Board certificated Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
- 2+ years critical care experience as an NP or PA
- New graduates with completion of an ICU specific fellowship will be considered
- Active Washington license
- Active DEA license
- Active ACLS/BLS certification
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and proficiency in managing critically ill patients
- Have the willingness and flexibility to adapt to challenges and changes in a growing program

Swedish Medical Center's First Hill campus is a 697-bed, general medical and surgical hospital in downtown Seattle. The largest of Swedish's five hospitals, First Hill is considered the main Swedish campus. In addition to the hospital and emergency department, the campus is home to the Swedish Cancer Institute and the Swedish Orthopedic Institute. The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including the areas largest childbirth center, NICU and specialty pediatric care.
