About the Position
Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for full‑time and part‑time shifts (Day, Evening, Variable). The RN Primary Nurse is responsible for the care of residents and patients in their neighborhood, partnering with residents, family members, and the care team to plan and implement individualized care plans.
ResponsibilitiesThe RN Primary Nurse meets the job summary of a Registered Nurse in a skilled nursing setting, delegating resident care to associate nurses and other team members when not on duty. Key duties include:
- Planning and implementing patient care in collaboration with the care team.
- Delegating responsibilities to support staff in the absence of the RN.
- Maintaining high standards of care and compliance with care protocols.
Full‑time and part‑time positions across multiple shifts (Day, Evening, Variable).
Pay Range$43.12 – $66.95 per hour, plus holiday pay, shift differentials, and additional compensation such as standby/on‑call and overtime.

- Nursing Degree.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
- 1 year of nursing experience in a similar population.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
- 1 year of previous charge nurse or primary nurse experience, including leading teams.
- 1 year of nursing experience in an environment that provides person‑directed care.
