Night Shift Registered Nurse – UW Medical Center‑Northwest Emergency Department
Work Schedule- 3×12 shift schedule
- Night shifts (7:00 pm‑7:30 am)
- Rotating weekend shifts required
- 22‑bed Level IV Trauma Center with surgical capabilities and a designated Primary Stroke Center
- Frontline of complex, high‑acuity patient care for an expanding community hospital
- Consistently hold 1:4 nurse to patient ratios
- Recognized for providing one of the fastest times to treatment for cardiac patients in the Seattle region

Job Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients upon arrival
- Stabilize patients with life‑threatening injuries and illnesses
- Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs
- Administer medications and fluids
- Respond quickly when emergent issues arise
- Work alongside emergency department physicians, cardiac care professionals, social workers, and paramedics
- Support patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and behavioral health needs
- Provide personalized patient care with compassion and dignity
- 1 year of recent RN work experience in an Emergency Department
- ACLS
- BLS
- Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Pay Range Minimum: $45.59 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $83.64 hourly
Other Compensation: BSN (or higher) premium – $1.00/hour;
Certification premium – $1.25/hour;
Night premium – $5.00/hour;
Weekend premium (Fridays and Saturdays) – $4.00/hour;
Sunday night premium – $3.00/hour;
Overtime pay.

Shift: Night Shift (United States of America). This is a regular position. FTE (Full‑Time Equivalent): 90.00%. Union/Bargaining Unit: WSNA UWMC Northwest.
