Job DescriptionUW Medical Center – Montlake’ Roosevelt PACU has an outstanding opportunity for a full time (100% FTE, 40 hours per week), day shift ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER (Registered Nurse
3) to join the Roosevelt PACU team. The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide direct nursing care, train and manage staff, spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safe patient care practices.
40 hours per week
Day Shift
Responsibilities- Establishes and maintains credibility as a leader of day-to-day operations
- Oversees staffing
- Provides leadership for clinical and administrative functions
- Develops, coordinates, and maintains various work processes that ensure successful department function
- Promotes effective communication among staff and patients
- Identifies staff and resource problems and takes necessary steps toward problem resolutions
- BSN and 2 years of current PACU, ICU or ED/ER nursing experience
- An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
- BLS/ACLS
- Pay Range Minimum: $49.23 hourly
- Pay Range Maximum: $90.33 hourly
