Pre Kidney Transplant Registered Nurse
OverviewUW Medical Center – Montlake invites a registered nurse to join the Transplant Services team, focusing on patient assessment, triage, education, coordination of care, and documentation in the pre‑transplantation phase.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care and coordination for long‑term pre‑kidney transplant patients.
- Deliver surgical preparation and education for non‑transplant surgical patients.
- Perform multiple clinical procedures daily.
- Assess patient needs and deliver nursing services systematically, ensuring adherence to regulations and data requirements from the United Network of Organ Sharing and HRSA.
- Coordinate and document care, and manage procurement calls for the designated transplant patient population.
- Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience, including experience in pre‑kidney transplant patient care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Knowledge of transplant coordination and United Network of Organ Sharing regulations preferred.

- Day Shift
- Eight or Ten Hour Shifts
- Pay Range: $45.59 – $83.64 per hour.
- BSN or Higher premium $1.00 per hour.
- Certification pay $1.25 per hour.
- Nights $5.00 per hour.
- Weekends $4.00 per hour.
- Evenings $3.00 per hour.
