Job Description
UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a full time (100% FTE, 40 hours per week), evenings and some night shifts Assistant Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse
3) to join the Medical Oncology ICU. The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide direct nursing care, train and manage staff, spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safe patient care practices.
40 hours per week. Evening/night shifts. 2 clinical shifts (12-hour) and 2 management shifts (8-hour).
Position Highlights- Assists with operational and leadership duties as applicable
- Collaborates closely with the Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager peers, and ICU staff
The Medical Oncology ICU Assistant Nurse Manager assists the nurse manager to develop, maintain, and evaluate the ongoing operations of the team. This is a 24-bed unit. Patient population on this unit includes medical ICU cases and Bone Marrow Transplant.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license or valid Multistate license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Masters Preferred.
- Minimum of two years of recent ICU experience.
- Charge RN experience.
- Current ACLS, BLS.
- 2 years of current or ICU nursing experience.
- Previous charge, lead, or supervisory nursing experience.
- An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington.
- BLS and ACLS.

Compensation and BenefitsPay Range Minimum: $49.23 hourly. Pay Range Maximum: $90.33 hourly.
Other Compensation: $5.00/hour nights, $4.00/hour weekends, $3.00/hour evenings, $1.00/hour BSN Premium, $1.25/hour Nursing Certification.
