Description
The Clinical Supervisor RN coordinates and manages the clinical support staff and the clinical workflows and activities within the clinic. This position functions as an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice. Oversees the care provided by clinical support staff and initiates efforts to improve the quality and skill levels of the clinical staff members.
Leads clinical staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in an efficient, safe, and timely manner that is sensitive to patients’ physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Works directly with physicians regarding their practice related to the nursing department. Ensures compliance with established clinic policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and manage clinical support staff and workflows.
- Oversee the care provided by clinical support staff and initiate quality improvement efforts.
- Lead clinical staff to deliver efficient, safe, and patient‑centered care.
- Collaborate with physicians on nursing-related practice issues.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- 3 years of direct patient care experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
- Experience in delegating nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel, preferably within the ambulatory setting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association upon hire.
- Previous charge/lead nurse experience.
- Competitive salary based on experience (approximately $55.45 - $86.08 per hour).
