Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – First Assist Neurosurgery

The Swedish Neurological Institute seeks a full‑time Neurosurgery nurse practitioner or physician assistant for the cranial team at the Swedish Cherry Hill Campus in Seattle. In this role you will provide comprehensive care for cranial surgery patients across multiple settings—including ambulatory clinic, inpatient management, and surgical assist—while working closely with neurosurgeons and maintaining a high level of autonomy in patient care.
- Full‑time position, 4 10‑hour shifts with weekend rotation
- Practice across clinic, inpatient care, and surgical first assist
- Collaborate with a highly experienced cranial neurosurgery team
- Prior experience as a surgical first assist
- Acute‑care experience as a provider
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex neurosurgical patients
- Demonstrated empathy and professionalism in difficult patient conversations
- New graduates are not considered for this role
- Salary range: $149,868 – $205,789 per year
