** has an outstanding job opportunity for a
** PATIENT TRANSPORTER / Hospital Assistant position**.
** WORK SCHEDULE

** DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
*** Radiology at Montlake provides diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic services to Montlake's patients and providers
* Through our various services and locations we touch almost every patient at some point in their care continuum
* Our faculty, technical and support staff are dedicated to providing the absolute best care and service possible
** PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Transportation of patients, supplies, and specimens
* Transports patients via gurney, wheelchair and bed to ancillary departments
* Ordering and stocking of supplies
* Maintain / set up of special equipment
* Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication
** REQUIREMENTS
* ** Valid Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of Washington
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience.
* Valid  American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire
