Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program required. Successful completion of the National Certification Examination from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Obtain state licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice licensure in the State of Washington. Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.
Job DescriptionSeattle Childrens provides care to children from the WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho) region and supports all pediatric surgical and medical specialties. CRNAs implement the mission, vision, and values of Seattle Children’s Hospital--to provide hope, care and cures to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible. CRNAs will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to provide anesthesia care appropriate to children of all ages, from the neonate to the young adult.
CRNAs will work in collaboration with the medically supervising physician and under the standards of the Department of Anesthesiology and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
