Job Description
Harborview Abuse and Trauma Center/Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (HATC/SANE) is seeking a SANE. The SANE is on call providing care to adult, adolescent, and pediatric victims of sexual assault, including physical exam and forensic evidence collection.
Responsibilities- Provide services at Harborview Medical Center and Valley Medical Center.
- Complete 40‑hour didactic SANE training and extensive orientation.
- Maintain minimum availability of six 12‑hour shifts per month.
- Respond to cases at all five hospitals within 45 minutes to one hour.
- On call.
- Live in King County and within a 45‑minute drive to Harborview.
- Have two or more years working as an RN.
- Hold a Washington state nursing license or MSL to practice.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Pay range: minimum $46.97 per hour, maximum $87.02 per hour.
- Other compensation: case pay $400 (BSN or higher), certification pay $1.25/hr, evening differential $3.00/hr, night differential $5.00/hr, weekend $4.00, Sunday night $3.00/hr.
