Job Description
UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology and Medical‑Surgical Unit.
Work Schedule- 90%
- Variable shifts
Our Cardiology and Medical‑Surgical unit (4SE) is a 28 telebed unit that provides care for cardiology and cardiac post‑op patients, post electrophysiology and interventional radiology procedure patients, and med‑surg/telemetry patients. The unit’s priority is post‑cardiac procedure patients, which includes femoral sheath monitoring and pulls and IV drug infusions. The unit cares for post‑op patients as space allows and treats a diverse medical‑surgical patient population, offering excellent learning opportunities.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide acute patient care
- Triage patient care priorities in collaboration with team members
- Follow evidence‑based nursing practices
- Monitor and administer medications and IVs
- One year current/recent med‑surg or cardiac nursing experience
- Licensed to work as an RN in the State of Washington
Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $86.17 hourly
Other Compensation: BSN (or higher degree) Premium – $1.00/hour;
Certification (Specialty Certs) Premium – $1.25/hour;
Night Shift Premium – $5.00/hour;
Evening Shift Premium – $3.00/hour;
Weekend Shift Premium – $4.00/hour;
Sunday Night Premium – $3.00/hour;
Overtime Pay – $5000;
